Riding the buzz from the recently finished 2007 WSOP, at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Harrah’s released the 2007-2008 WSOP Circuit Schedule today.

  • Some Highlights of the 2007-2008 WSOP Circuit Schedule
    • 12 Sites compared to 11 the last 2 years
    • $5,000 entry fee for Main Event
    • Each Circuit site will be scheduled for 2 weeks of Poker
    • Cheaper Satellites to the Main Circuit events

    “Strong customer demand prompted us to add another event to the Circuit schedule,” said WSOP Commissioner Jeffrey Pollack. “Each event brings the thrills and excitement of the WSOP to poker players at the local and regional level” source

    • Caesars Indiana, Oct. 17-Nov. 2, 2007

    • Harrah’s Atlantic City, Dec. 8-18, 2007
    • Grand Casino Tunica, Jan. 3-22, 2008
    • Harrah’s Rincon San Diego North, Jan. 27-Feb. 7, 2008
    • Horseshoe Council Bluffs, Feb. 18-27, 2008
    • Caesars Atlantic City, Mar. 5-15, 2008

    WSOP Circuit events has also been known to attract many professional poker players. Pros like Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi, Gavin Griffin, Gavin Smith, Davidson Matthew, Men “The Master” Nguyen, David “The Dragon” Pham, Scott Fischman, Steve Wong, Chad Brown, and Phil Gordon all attended Circuit Events last year. source
