Here is a 3 part video of an appearance Phil Hellmuth made on NBC’s Poker after Dark. Phil has lots of issues with his table mates. The video is found on YouTube. I have put links below for all 3 parts.

The video captures typical Phil Hellmuth table behavior. Complaining about his tablemates. He even goes so far as to inform NBC that he will not be back for any Poker after Dark tournaments. I always find these ‘Acts’ by Phil to be very entertaining and humorous. It took me a
long time to come to the conclusion that his table-side manner is all an act. One of the opponents even says Phil is just doing it for more TV time. Phil is not the worst at the table but he is in the top 10. Just as he is in the top 10 Hold ‘Em players worldwide.

Phil Hellmuth is definately the best Hold ‘Em player in the world. The man has 11 bracelets in Hold ‘Em. The other two who come close to Phil are Doyle and Chan, who have 10 bracelets each yet some are in other events besides Hold ‘Em. In my opinion, Phil is right when saying he is the best (Hold ‘Em) player in the world. No other player can compare to what he’s done. When your the best player of your “sport”, you should be able to talk some trash. Obviously, your record speaks for itself.

Andy, thanks for the comment. I just get tired of Phil telling all opponents they are the worst Poker Players and they don’t know how to spell Poker and on and on. In this post http://www.justpokertalk.com/wsop-2007-poy-tom-schneider-and-the-wsop-money-is-enormous-now/ I was very impressed with Phil’s WSOP stats. Take a look you will come away even more certain he is the best Hold ‘Em player. I wish he would just work on his tableside manner.
